Salon Checklist
Services provided in licensed cosmetic art shops must be performed by licensed cosmetologists, manicurists, estheticians and natural hair care stylists. Practice without a license will result in civil penalty. Questions can be directed to nccosmo@nccosmeticarts.com.

Salon Login - existing salons use this to login for renewals, duplicate requests, adding chairs, downloading and printing licenses or civil penalty payments.  

Mobile salons are not permitted in NC, although several bills have been proposed in recent years no bill has passed the complete legislative process to become a law.  Until a law is passed otherwise, mobile salons are not permitted.
